While weekly washes and careful hand-drying can be the best care you can give your vehicle, improper techniques can cause unsightly swirls and scratches in the paint that will requiring compounding or polishing at the very least.

Weekly washing is best because some contaminants can quickly do serious long term damage to the paint if they are allowed to remain.Two such organic compounds are bug remains bird droppings. These bio hazards contain complex proteins that bond to the surface eating into your clear coat make your vehicle susceptible to corrosion and discoloration.

When washing your vehicle, we take careful steps to ensure the quality of our service.

When washing the vehicle, we wash your vehicle in a shady spot. We take care in selecting tools that are gentle on the paint yet still effective at removing contamination. As a rule of thumb, we have found that sponges and mitts that are plush or have a deep nap are better. For example, sea sponges and micro fiber mitts will not scratch or swirl the vehicle.

While hand washing your vehicle, we make sure to wash the wheels and tires using cleaners that are safe for all wheels. We use our micro fiber mitt and a freshly rinsed container as it is important to wash using rich lubricants. The purpose of hand washing is to remove contaminants and lubricate them so they don’t scratch paint.

Additionally, we use a two buckets system. One to wash and other with clean water in it. Each time were ready to reload our mitt with soapy water, we dip it in clean water first to rinse out grit and contamination just removed from vehicle then dip it in soapy water. We start at the top of vehicle first then wash down the vehicle gently as opposed to front to back.

We make sure to clean windows and upper panels before cleaning the lower half which usually has the most dirt and grime. We always rinse your vehicle with a water pressure machine especially in hot weather.  We purposefully dry the vehicle with a chamois and a California jelly blade as fast as possible to prevent water spots or streaks.

Lastly, we use a micro fiber towel to clean door jambs and trunk jambs and then dry your wheels, dress tires ad clean the windows.
