Do your headlights have that embarrassing dingy yellow film? You are not alone. It is a very common problem for cars and trucks. At Detailed-2-Perfection, we can restore your headlights back to almost new.

Our expert technicians can identify when the lens must be wet-sanded in order to restore. We have created a step-by-step process of wet-sanding and machine polishing. This process includes taping all around the headlight to protect any seals/trim as well as painted finishes.

In most cases, we find that most lenses have a mild haze requiring our special Detailed-2-Perfection polishing steps without having to wet-sand. Keep in mind that head light restoration does not mean that micro fractures in the lens will be restored, but after restoration the opacity of headlight will look almost like new. One thing to remember is that headlights typically get to this point after they lost there UV protection (some are made better than others).

Our last step after polishing the headlights is to seal it with a special protective wax so you don’t have reoccurring yellowing or oxidation doesn’t haze the headlight. Keep in mind headlights will typically become damaged due to acid rain, humidity, insects, road chemicals, road debris, road salt and sunlight, but keeping them clean on a regular basis can improve the life and clarity of your headlights.
