Most car owners value their cars and take great pride in keeping them looking and running great! It can sometimes be a challenge to keep our cars looking great due to lack of time or will power. And those pesky bugs always crashing into our vehicles bumper doesn’t help, especially after we just wash and wax it. I don’t know what it is about those bugs, but they seem attracted to clean cars. So, even though we just washed our car we know we need to wash it again to get the bugs guts off. If not you are really hurting your cars paint job. So, what can you do about those bugs and why should you bother?
First off, you should have a reason for doing something, otherwise what is the point. It is important that you get the bugs off your car as soon as possible because the longer they collect on your bumper the harder they are to get off. Also bugs leave an acid on your car which causes the paint to break down and discolor or even chip off. So, to protect your cars paint and great looks you need to get those bugs off and fast!
If your car has collected some bugs your first step is to wash your car with car soap and warm water. Be sure to use a soft cloths or a car specific cleaning clothe or sponge. A rough or wiry choice of sponge can possible scratch your cars paint, which was what you were trying to avoid in the first place. This should remove most of the bug and its remnants.
However, there may be some hard to get bugs and guts on your car. Then you can look for a specific bug removal cleaner. Just be sure to follow the direction carefully and thoroughly to protect your car and get the bugs off.
